No obligation, no pitch. Just a conversation about what’s not working.

The problem

Growth outpaced the infrastructure.

Most growing businesses hit a point where the operation can’t keep up with the ambition. As a founder, you end up managing the things that should be running themselves:

  • Stock goes missing and nobody knows where it is

  • Supplier delays aren't caught until it's too late

  • POs and invoices live in spreadsheets no-one trusts

  • Processes exist in people's heads, not on paper

  • You're firefighting when you should be building

The result is founder dependency, poor visibility, and an operation that breaks every time something changes. These aren’t people problems. They’re process and systems problems — and they’re fixable.

SYSTEMS

Our methodology

Every operational problem is one of three things.

Knowing which one you’re actually dealing with is the difference between a fix that holds and a fix that unravels in three months. It’s the first thing we establish, and it shapes every recommendation we make.

Tools, platforms and integrations

A systems fix applied to an ownership problem will fail every time. So we diagnose before we prescribe.

OWNERSHIP

Documented steps and workflows

PROCESSES

Accountability and training

The audit

Two weeks. Fixed scope. Fixed price.

We go inside your business, map what’s broken across five operational areas, diagnose why, and hand you a prioritised plan to fix it — with the documentation to make the change stick.

Your diagnostic

You can’t fix what you can’t measure.

Every audit concludes with the Alvori Score — five operational areas, each scored out of 100. Most operational reviews hand you a list of recommendations. The Score hands you a ranking, so you don’t have to decide what matters most. It tells you.

01 Supply Chain & Inventory __/100

Low on Processes & Ownership but strong on Data & Systems? You don’t need new software. You need documented processes and clear accountability. The Score makes that obvious.

02 Finance & Administration __/100

03 Data & Systems __/100

04 Processes & Ownership __/100

05 Supplier Management __/100

Case study · Fashion brand, London

“Samples kept going missing. Nobody knew where anything was.”

The problem. A high-end fashion brand had no system to track samples across office, showroom, agents and designers. Costs mounted every showroom season, the warehouse raised complaints constantly, and the founder was personally chasing stock.

The diagnosis. An ownership problem, not a systems one. Nobody had clear accountability for tracking sample movement at each stage — so no tool would have fixed it on its own.

What we did. Full recount to establish a baseline. Built a live sign-in/out register. Corrected system locations. Introduced clear categorisation for stock allocated to showroom, agents and designers.

About

Operations from the inside, not the outside.

Alvori was founded by Lidia Haile, who has spent almost a decade working inside the operational engine rooms of fashion brands, DTC businesses and growing organisations.

At Linda Farrow she took a global fashion brand from one outdated manual to full company-wide documentation across 10+ functions, eliminated data inconsistencies across four platforms, and delivered 50%+ cost savings through supplier negotiation. At Marks & Spencer she onboarded 25 brands, assessed and integrated 80 GNFR vendors, and supported the integration of a newly acquired subsidiary — joining mid-programme, clearing the bottlenecks, and delivering every go-live on schedule within two months.

She started Alvori because the same problems kept appearing in the same places: processes living in people’s heads, systems that didn’t talk to each other, and founders managing things that should have run themselves.

“Lidia has a rare ability to bring clarity and structure to complex operational challenges. She consistently improved processes, strengthened cross-functional collaboration and ensured critical projects stayed on track. She approaches operations not as administration, but as a strategic function that supports sustainable business growth.”

Former Director, Linda Farrow

Common questions

We handle operations in-house. Why bring someone external in?

Because the problems are usually invisible from the inside. Your team knows something isn’t working, but they’re too close to it, and too busy running it, to step back and find the root cause. Most of what we find is already suspected by someone in the business. What’s missing is the time and the outside perspective to fix it properly.

How do I know it’s worth £2,000?

Most operational problems at this stage are costing more than that in wasted time, stock losses, or supplier issues. The audit tells you exactly where. And if we find nothing worth fixing, that’s worth knowing too.

How much of my team’s time does this take?

Around four hours in total across the two weeks. A 60-minute kick-off, a 90-minute shadow session, up to three 30-minute team interviews, and a 90-minute final presentation. Everything else happens on our side.

What happens after the audit?

That’s entirely up to you. Some clients take the pack and implement it themselves — it’s written to be used that way. Others bring us in to lead the implementation or provide ongoing fractional support. There’s no obligation either way.

Do you only work with fashion brands?

No. Fashion and DTC is where most of our experience sits, so that’s where we’re fastest. But the framework applies to any growing business where operations haven’t kept pace, and the underlying problems are remarkably consistent across sectors.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Everything shared during an audit is strictly confidential and never shared with third parties. Any case studies we publish are fully anonymised.
